This summer, Northwest Indiana Clean Air is starting a bicycle safety and air quality education initiative, Project Lightning Bug. The project entails giving away 3,000 FREE bike lights and giving out air quality education material at public events such as night rides, safety villages, bike rodeos, and the like. Valpo Night Ride is honored to be a part of this program and a recipient of the free bike lights in 2019.
