Whether your child is eager to try a new sport or continue playing one they already enjoy, Valpo Parks offers a wide variety of recreational sports programs for all ages and ability levels. Every season, more than 2,000 kids join us across 14 youth sports to learn, grow, and have fun.
Our programs are built on the foundation of recreational play, where every athlete is welcome and encouraged to thrive. With the guidance of caring coaches and staff, participants not only develop their athletic skills but also gain valuable life lessons. Through role modeling and positive instruction, we help children and parents put winning into perspective, emphasizing teamwork, growth, and the joy of playing. Valpo Parks Youth Sports programs are bursting with opportunities to get in the game and make a difference in the lives of our young athletes! Whether you’re ready to take the lead as a head coach or lend a helping hand in the dugout, there’s a spot waiting just for you!
We are looking for head coaches! Please be sure to note it in your are registering your child if you or someone in your family is willing to be a head coach. Please note, it does not guarantee you will be selected as a coach. All head coaches who are selected will receive a full refund for their registration. Please take a moment to fill out the Coaching Application by clicking HERE.
*Coaches reserve the right to pick their own practice days based on the availability of the majority of the team. Once rosters are set and uniforms are ordered, we will not be able to move teams for any reason.

Youth Sports Refund Policy:
- To be eligible for a refund, cancellations must be requested a minimum of seven (7) days before the published registration deadline.
- Cancellations within seven (7) days of the registration deadline will not be refunded.
- Refunds will be distributed back to the participant through a check in the mail. This process takes 4 – 6 weeks.
- A $15.00 service charge for processing all cancellations will apply unless the Valpo Parks and Recreation Department cancels a program due to low enrollment.
