Flounder & Friends Skatepark

Skatepark

Valparaiso Skatepark is Valparaiso's newest park project! This 15,000+ square foot design has all the elements users will be excited about - mini ramp, bowl, street features, and more.

The project team is finalizing construction documents and preparing to go to bid in early Spring. Once bids are awarded and the conditions are favorable for construction, ground breaking will take place in late Spring. The projections are calling for a 8-10 month construction timeframe putting the ribbon cutting ceremony towards the end of 2023.

The park is being designed to a base package with the ability to expand the footprint and features if additional funding becomes available. With that strategy in mind, The project team is working hard to raise an additional $300,000.
